In April, Deliveroo will expand to 9 new cities and launch a new TV commercial
- Deliveroo expands its service to Ancona in Marche, Lagundo in South Tyrol, Acilia, Dragona and Monterotondo in the Province of Rome, Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia and in the hinterland of Turin (Alpignano, Collegno and Rivoli).
- In total there are over 250 cities and areas in Italy where the platform is now active, partnering with more than 14,000 restaurants. Our grocery offer is also growing in 30 cities, partners include Carrefour Italia, Conad and Fresco Market.
- The App is back on-air with a new TV commercial, “Deliveroo. Tutto per il gusto”.
Milan, 13th april 2021. The number of Italian cities in which Deliveroo is present continues to grow. This month Deliveroo expands its service to 9 new cities, reaching over 250 cities in total, allowing even more customers to order food from their favorite restaurants via the app.
Deliveroo will also be available in Ancona, in the Marche, as well as making its debut in Lagundo, in South Tyrol, Alpignano, Collegno and Rivoli in the hinterland of Turin, Acilia, Dragona and Monterotondo in the province of Rome and Pordenone, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Deliveroo’s presence is increasingly widespread and has now been expanded in areas such as the hinterland of Rome and Turin. More than 200 grocery stores in 30 cities will be available on the platform in April
Alongside territorial expansion, Deliveroo’s on-demand service from supermarkets is growing. This allows an increasing number of Italians to order and receive groceries via the app. From April, Deliveroo’s grocery service will be available in 30 cities with delivery from more than 200 stores.

In April, Deliveroo will also launch a new commercial "Deliveroo. All for the taste" on its global platform. The new platform - which will feature on both digital and social channels - highlights that customers order on Deliveroo because of excellent food. With this new communication campaign Deliveroo wants to celebrate the central role of food in people’s lives, underlining its commitment to ensuring the best taste experience from more than 115,000 partner restaurants and supermarkets, in the 12 markets in which it is present.
The new platform was developed globally by the creative agency Pablo and the planning was carried out by Initiative. The new commercial is available to view here.
